Happy Election Day!
I saw this posted earlier today on another blog, and wanted to share. I think this quote is funny! Oh I am not saying anyone is stupid for voting any particular way. We are all individuals and have the right to vote for whomever we see fit. I just thought this was cute for election day!
"never underestimate stupid people in large groups."
So joined the "IN" crowd and VOTE!!!!!

Food Pyramid

New Food Pyramid! DID YOU KNOW! Check it out! My professor does say that as of recently they are saying now United States Americans need to exercise 2 1/2 hours a day! ECK! Crazy huh! That seems so long, but they are including things like running late for class and speed walking for 20 minutes to get there on time! :)
Joined a New Gym 2 weeks Ago!

I have to say, I am very impressed with the gym that my husband & I just joined! It is Access Fitness! It is open 24/7 and I just pay $50 for both of us! It is great, and cheap! TV monitors on each cardio, weights all over, tanning, shower, XM Radio plus more! Sweet deal! I am pretty happy with this access fitness it just opened 3 months ago.
My Favorite, Actually Healthy Bread

This bread is the BEST bread, It is actually REALLY Healthy. Try it, I love it!
No enriched wheat, yeah! I have been eating this for years! I thought I would just share it, I use to buy the cheap (used to be 99cents a loaf bread at the grocery store)! Might as well not, it is no good for our bodies at all......So this Bread I buy for 3-4 bucks at a health food store! Healthy good, has other types of breads (english muffins, bagels, etc) oh and flavors! Just try it! Oh buy store it in the fridge, since it is all natural either freeze or store in fridge! It will go bad on you quick out in the open! :)
HEALTH BENEFITS - Ezekiel bread is great because it does not contain any flour that will cause inflammation in your body. This bread is made from sprouted grains and lentils and has amazing health benefits. Try the cinnamon raisin which is my favorite.Coconut oil is a famous oil that eastern cultures eat on a frequent basis. Coconut oil is filled with healthy fats and is known to maintain a healthy heart.Raw honey contains many antioxidants. People with allergies have been known to use this as a natural remedy. When looking for what honey to buy fo for the darker one as it contains more antioxidants and less water.

I worked on getting my small room organized this summer! So this is what I did!
1st - I bought an old icky looking dresser, and brought it back to life...I stripped it down, and painted it a nice sharp place...I kept the old hardware...I thought it added a really nice touch!
2nd - Framed our wedding pictures and arranged them....Very nice huh!

Feng Shui Tips for Clutter Clearing - Use Feng Shui for Better Energy
Feng Shui Tips to Help You Deal with Your Clutter

Feng Shui Tips to Help You Deal with Your Clutter
By Rodika Tchi, About.com
The feng shui effect of clutter on your health, your energy levels and the overall quality of your life is obvious - clutter drains your energy and dampens your very best intentions. Even though we all agree about the feng shui effects of clutter, starting to clear your clutter is never easy. One look at the stuffed bedroom closets or the piled up bookcases in your home office is enough to make you urgently find something very important to do.There is a way out, though, and feng shui, as an energy tool, can help you clear your clutter in the most efficient, easy and, yes, even enjoyable way! The way to make it work is to keep in mind two important feng shui guidelines:
Bring higher feng shui energy to support you in your clutter clearing efforts. For example, having great music, fresh air, a sense of beauty in the space will start diminishing the low effects of clutter, as in the world of energy everything is in constant motion. Be aware how much easier it is to deal with the low energy of your clutter when you are surrounded by higher energy.
Plan to "underachieve" instead of "overachieve." Start small and time your efforts. For example, give yourself 15 min for a specific area, and when the time is up, just leave it. You've done great. Now plan for the next session and make it a bit longer (20-25 min.)By mentally changing your approach and having realistic goals you can actually start living clutter free quite soon. It is important to give yourself time, though. Just like with losing the extra weight with feng shui, you will achieve the best results with a consistent system, complimented by new habits.A very helpful tool in clearing clutter is using the ancient principle of space clearing. There are many ways to do space clearing, and from my experience, ancient cultures around the world have various forms of clearing the stagnant energy. Explore the topic of space clearing with feng shui, as it can be of great help in your feng shui clutter clearing efforts. From Karen Kingston's Clear your Clutter with Feng Shui (compare prices) and Creating Sacred Space with Feng Shui (compare prices) to Denise Linn's Sacred Space: Clearing and Enhancing the Energy of Your Home (compare prices) there are many resources to help you understand how to shift the energy in your space and make your feng shui efforts really pay off.To deal with the unseen causes of clutter, such as emotional issues, Christan Hummel, the author of Do It Yourself Space Clearing Kit (compare prices) suggests to "go around the house to places where there have been past traumas or difficulties. Do a cleansing ceremony (sage, or candles work well) and intend for the blockages to be cleared from that space. Intentionally bring in items that represent a more flowing energy, such as a feng shui fountain, chimes, or living things like plants, to attract life energy back into that area." No matter which way of space clearing you choose, once you realize that the unseen Chi, or energy around you is shifting all the time, you can easily transform it for the better. You might not see it, but you can certainly feel it. Feng Shui is here to guide you through all the steps of creating better energy in your home.

Idiots

Someday's I do very stupid things! Today I walked around for 20 minutes looking for my purse! Looked everywhere! It was on the seat of a chair under the desk! This reminds me of my youth! I remember looking for hours for my mother's purse! After looking all day she cancelled all her credit cards, called the bank etc....The next day I went to the kitchen to eat breakfast, well I pulled out the chair from under the table.....You'll never guess what I found! My mom's purse!!! I was scared to tell her! Kind of funny, now!

Goal of Blog
Hello My Names is Rachel!

I think my goal of my blog spot will be in the world of Interior Design, Art, and Architecture, and completely random nutrition & recipes! Also keeping my family up with my life! Hopefully! These areas will be my focus! But do not take that the bank. Studying Interior Design, and Architecture has brought be to a position where I love to design a space truly on an individual! So I will post a wide variety of things. I am a mother, so most things I will enter will be things that are making my life easier. Recipes & nutrition is because I have ever so fought the battle of extra weight, and strive to keep it under control before I get really sick! Plus I love the feeling of health......So get ready for a blog on the journey I am taking! So enjoy my randomness on life! Things I would love to see before I die! So just enjoy!
